Spandan Inc., founded in 2013, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promote the Bengali culture in the Greater Lansing Area and the neighboring communities in and around Michigan. The organization sponsors many social, cultural and religious events throughout the year such as Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja and a summer picnic. Spandan Inc. depends mostly on the generous donations from our patron families and local businesses. The organization grows and thrives on the hard work and dedication of all the executives and board members and wholehearted support, enthusiasm and participation from the community as a whole. Our aim is to include everyone in our events not only from the Bengali community but also from outside to share and show what our Bengali culture has to offer to the world.
